Profile for Barbara Burghart
Ms. Burghart received an MBA degree in Finance and Accounting from Golden Gate University. In addition to being the Finance Manager and Vice President of Schapiro Thom Inc. for the last 18 years, she has managed a number of small businesses and also was an accountant in the Small usiness Division of KPMG, one of the "Big Four" International Accounting firms.
Together with Ms. Thorn, the President and Chief Attorney of Schapiro Thorn Inc, Ms. Burghart manages all financial aspects of the corporation and determines its fiscal policies.
In addition to her MBA, Ms. Burghart has a BA degree in Drawing and Painting from Dominican University in River Forest, IL. She also studied art and art history at the Chicago and the San Francisco Art Institutes and the University of California, Berkeley, CA. Her award winning drawings have been exhibited in galleries across the United States and are in private collections around the world.
